- Wrote monthly column about topics such as summer work, voter apathy, interracial dating and the presidential race
- Organize and advise writers, photographers and designers for each article as well as edit stories in the production laboratory
- Wrote sport features including: club football; strength and conditioning program; team handball club; women’s basketball standouts

- Covered local sports and recreation, and other news and feature articles for weekly newspaper such as the rise in dock jumping, the life of a vagabond tour caddie, hospital workers’ pickets and little league playoffs

- Covered news and features in the six surrounding towns such as valedictorian profiles, a new librarian, musicals, a dirt bike racer, a tornado that hit a golf course and two columns in its affiliate, the News Times, in Danbury, CT
- Took photographs at a basketball camp, Little League playoffs, school graduation, road race, special events and various features
